About Me
I’m a Principal Experience Designer with a heart for creating impactful designs that people love to work with.
It wasn’t so long from now that I began connecting the dots backwards understanding my journey and what I am. As a kid, I was always in discovery and in pursuit of knowledge, qualities that I possess to this day in trying to understand how things work and building designs through inspirations from real life. Mostly in a world of my own where imagination and creativity had run haywire for a long time, not knowing to have run parallels between art and the science of function.
Why UX
Witnessed the evolution of technology and the IT buzz all around me I felt I could really create and impact. But I loved design and the idea of building something impactful therefore I chose to pursue and discover my paths. So, I started out as a graphics designer developing designs for courseware, followed by creating rich web animations for websites for law firms in the US. I had been in and out of many hats, even as a developer, for a short while, working on making sure websites are well primed before they went live. I learnt a lot.
But it wasn’t until I piloted my first web application I felt it all coming together. The ability to channel creativity, aesthetics and emotions with the knowledge of function, to engineer powerful and delightful experiences for people and change their lives for the better. It was then I knew, this is where I needed to be.
